Jedes Jahr richtet die AG Chamäleons einen Chamäleon-Fotowettbewerb aus, der sich inzwischen großer Beliebtheit erfreut. Teilnehmen dürfen alle Mitglieder der AG Chamäleons. Pro Teilnehmer kann ein Foto pro Kategorie eingesandt werden, das am Wettbewerb teilnehmen soll.

Every year, the AG Chamäleons organises a chameleon photo competition, which has become very popular. All members of the AG Chamäleons may participate. One photo per participant per category can be sent in to take part in the competition.

Die Gewinner werden per geheimer Wahl von allen anwesenden Mitgliedern gemeinsam auf der jährlichen Tagung gewählt – gewinnen kann jeweils nur, wer auch an der Tagung teilnimmt. Einsendeschluss für den Fotowettbewerb ist der 17.05.2026.

The winners are chosen by secret ballot by all members present at the annual meeting – only those who also attend the meeting can win. The deadline for the last photo competition was 12.05.2024.

[:de]Teilnahmebedingungen
/ Veranstalter, Teilnehmer und Teilnahme
Der Fotowettbewerb wird von der AG Chamäleons in der DGHT e.V. durchgeführt. Teilnehmen kann jedes Mitglied der AG Chamäleons. Hier kannst du Mitglied werden. Ein/e Teilnehmer/in nimmt am Fotowettbewerb teil, indem er/sie ein oder mehrere Foto/s als digitale Bilddatei auf der Website der AG Chamäleons hochlädt. Mit dem Upload des/der Fotos erklärt sich der/die Teilnehmer/in mit den Teilnahmebedingungen einverstanden. Die Teilnahme hat innerhalb der im Fotowettbewerb genannten Frist zu erfolgen.
Folgende Informationen müssen für jedes eingeschickte Foto angegeben werden:
- Vorname und Name
- E-Mail-Adresse
- gezeigte Chamäleon-Art
- Ort und Land der Aufnahme bei Naturaufnahmen
Der/die Teilnehmer/in versichert, dass er/sie allein über alle Rechte an den eingeschickten Fotos verfügt und das/die Foto/s von ihm/ihr persönlich aufgenommen wurde. Die Teilnahme mit Fotos, die von anderen Personen aufgenommen wurden, ist nicht gestattet. Zur Teilnahme am Fotowettbewerb ist zwingend erforderlich, dass sämtliche Angaben der Wahrheit entsprechen. Anderenfalls kann ein Ausschluss erfolgen.

/ Organiser, participants, and attendance
The photo competition is organized by the AG Chamäleons in der DGHT e.V. Every member of the AG Chamäleons can participate. You can become a member here. A participant takes part in the photo competition by uploading a photo as a digital image file on the website of AG Chamäleons. By uploading the photo, the participant agrees to the conditions of participation. Participation must take place within the deadline stated in the photo competition.
The following information must be provided for each photo submitted:
- First name and surname
- Email address
- Chameleon species shown
- Place and country of recording for nature photos
The participant assures that he/she alone holds all rights to the submitted photo and that the photo was taken by him/her personally. Participation with photos taken by other persons is not permitted. In order to participate in the photo competition, it is imperative that all information provided is true. Failure to do so may result in exclusion.

/ Anforderungen an eingereichte Fotos
Ein eingereichtes Bild muss mindestens 1000 Pixel breit sein. Die Dateigröße darf 5 MB nicht überschreiten. Das Foto muss ein Chamäleon oder mehrere Chamäleons zeigen. Die Nachbearbeitung des Bildes mit einem entsprechenden Programm (beispielsweise Adobe Photoshop oder Gimp) ist erlaubt, solange der ursprüngliche Charakter des Motives erhalten bleibt. Nicht erlaubt sind Collagen.
/ Verwendung der eingereichten Fotos
Alle eingereichten Fotos werden im Rahmen des Tagungsberichts und/oder folgender Fotowettbewerbe sowie auf der Startseite der Website www.agchamaeleons.de veröffentlicht, auf Wunsch mit oder ohne Namensnennung. Das Siegerfoto wird als Titelbild der CHAMAELEO veröffentlicht. Das Motiv des Siegerfotos wird auf der Sammeltasse der darauffolgenden Jahrestagung abgebildet. Die Teilnehmer und Teilnehmerinnen erklären sich mit der Nutzung und Speicherung ihrer Daten zu der soeben genannten Verwendung einverstanden.
/ Gewinner und Preise
Während der Tagung der AG Chamäleons ermitteln die Teilnehmer der Tagung mittels geheimer Wahl im Mehrheitsentscheid die Gewinnerfotos. Jeder Teilnehmer hat drei Stimmen. Die Gewinner werden am Samstag der Tagung bekannt gegeben. Der Rechtsweg ist ausgeschlossen. Sachpreise können nur an Mitglieder der AG vergeben werden, die an diesem Tag anwesend sind. Ist ein/e Gewinner/in des Fotowettbewerbs nicht persönlich anwesend oder lehnt den Pries ab, so wird der Preis an die Person weitergegeben, deren/dessen Foto in der Auszählung die nächstmeisten Stimmen erhalten hat. Bei Stimmengleichheit entscheidet das Los. Die auf www.agchamaeleons.de/fotowettbewerb dargestellten Sachpreise werden durch Sponsoren finanziert. Eine Barauszahlung der Gewinne ist ausgeschlossen.

/ Requirements for submitted photos
A submitted image must be at least 1000 pixels wide. The file size must not exceed 25 MB. The photo must show one or more chameleons. Post-processing of the image with an appropriate program (for example Adobe Photoshop or Gimp) is allowed as long as the original character of the motif is preserved. Collages are not permitted.
/ Use of the submitted photos
All submitted photos will be published as part of the conference report and/or subsequent photo competitions as well as on the website www.agchamaeleons.de, if desired with or without attribution. The winning photo will be published as the cover of CHAMAELEO. The motif of the winning photo will be reproduced on the collection mug of the following annual conference. The participants agree to the use and storage of their data for the above-mentioned purposes.
/ Winners and prizes
During the meeting of the AG Chamäleons, the participants of the meeting will determine the winning photos by means of a secret ballot by majority vote. Each participant has three votes. The winners will be announced on the Saturday of the conference. The legal process is excluded. Prizes in kind can only be awarded to members of the AG who are present on that day. If a winner of the photo competition is not present in person or declines to receive a prize, the prize will be given to the person whose photo received the next most votes in the count. In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by lot. The non-cash prizes shown on www.agchamaeleons.de/fotowettbewerb are financed by sponsors. Cash payment of the prizes is excluded.
